I've been on OH off and on for several years... but this time I'm back and I'm staying! 

I'm 23, live in Kentucky, and have been around the block (again and again!) trying t get approval for WLS.  This time i'm closer than  I've ever been... my employer just added the Obesity Rider to our insurance plan (effective May 1st!) and it should cover surgery... once I get approval.  I'm a pretty normal 23 year old... I just got married, work full time, and love to shop and make new friends!

I initially wanted Dr. Husted, but he's out of network, and that's another exclusion, so I have a consult with Dr. Margaret Inman in Carmel, IN on May 7th.  WIth a BMI of 98.2, it's hard finding a surgeon, so I'm hoping she feels that I am safe to operate on.

I will keep you all posted on my success!

Good Luck to your WL journey , Congrats on your marriage, and if you love shopping now your going to be off the hook once you get your surgery...
